The multi-chain lending protocol, ZeroLend, announced on the X platform that the ZERO Token Generation Event (TGE) will commence on May 6th. Of the total token supply, 15%-17% will be allocated for airdrops, with 5% distributed through the Zero Gravity program and 10-12% through earlyZERO distribution (exchangeable at a 1:1 ratio with ZERO).
Additionally, ZeroLend will launch its governance mechanism on Linea this Monday (May 6th) at 16:00.
In previous announcements, ZeroLend disclosed its ZERO token economics, with a maximum supply of 100 billion tokens and an initial circulating supply of 25 billion tokens (25%).
35% of the total supply will be allocated for private sales, 18% for airdrops, 10% for liquidity, 20% for reserved releases to stimulate growth (vested over 1200 months), 5% to the treasury, 7% to advisors, and 5% to the team.
According to official sources, Mode, a Layer 2 network built on the OP Stack, announced the release of its governance token MODE on May 7th, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens (initial circulating supply of 1.3 billion tokens). 5.5% will be allocated for the first round of airdrops (ending on May 5th), with airdrop claims opening at 19:00 on May 7th. Users will have 30 days to claim tokens, and unclaimed tokens will be used for future rewards for Mode users and developers.
The second round of airdrops will run from May 5th to September 6th, with an additional 500 million tokens distributed (5% of the total supply).
As per their disclosure, 38% of MODE's supply will be allocated to investors and core contributors, 27% to the foundation treasury, and 35% for airdrops targeting users and developers.
Etheruem Layer 2 network Metis announced that community test reward claims will remain open until May 7th. Eligible users can claim xMetis before May 7th. Metis disclosed eligibility criteria, including being in the top 33% of contributors in the community test, completing all tasks in the first and second seasons of the community test, and adhering to Elite Helmets' fair competition guidelines, without engaging in any form of Sybil attack strategy.
EigenLayer, a re-staking protocol, plans to commence token claims on May 10th. The newly established independent nonprofit Eigen Foundation will be the entity issuing the tokens. The total supply of Eigen tokens at issuance will be 1.67 billion, with 45% of tokens allocated to its community. This allocation further subdivides into equity input (15%), community initiatives (15%), and ecosystem development (15%). Additionally, 29.5% of tokens will be allocated to investors, while early contributors will receive 25.5%. It's noted that the total lock-up period for investors and early contributors is three years, fully locked for the first year, with a gradual release of 4% of holdings per month over the following two years.
EIGEN tokens will initially be in a non-transferable state after claiming for the first few months.
The decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure, Aethir, continues its Aethir Cloud Drop airdrop event until May 12th. Users can qualify for airdrops by purchasing Aethir Checker nodes, participating in social media, testing, inviting referrals, or becoming part of specific NFT/token communities.
Avail's official announcement on the X platform stated that the first phase of airdrop claims has ended, and the official claim window is now closed. More information regarding the second phase of airdrop claims will be released this week, including additional rewards for more Clash of Nodes participants, rewards for Polygon PoS validators and LST holders, and other details.
