This week's key events: the start of the ASI token merger plan; the closing of the W and TAIKO airdrop claims; and the commencement of repayments by Mt. Gox.
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance has announced significant updates regarding the ASI token merger.
Phase one starts on July 1, 2024, with AGIX and Ocean deposits and withdrawals closing across exchanges in preparation for migration. However, FET deposits, withdrawals, and trading will continue as usual. The migration platform from AGIX and OCEAN to FET will be available on the SingularityDAO DApp, allowing holders to convert their tokens to FET at specific rates.
Phase two involves cross-chain deployment of ASI tokens, upgrading the FET network to the ASI network, opening migration contracts from FET, AGIX, and OCEAN to ASI, launching EVM and other bridges, and transitioning the trading platforms from FET to ASI spot markets.
io.net has announced that the claiming period for Seasons 1 and 2 of the Ignition Rewards Program will end on June 18, 2024, at 11:00 UTC. Users with eligible wallets must claim their rewards before the window closes. The claiming period for Season 3 will commence on July 1, 2024, at 13:00 UTC (21:00 Beijing time).
ETHFI DAO has announced the launch of Season 3 and an airdrop token distribution proposal for ether.fi, set to start on July 1st. The proposal plans to airdrop 25 million ETHFI tokens to eligible ether.fi stakers based on community engagement metrics and participation levels.
The third season will run from July 1, 2024, to early September 2024, with the airdrop distribution occurring shortly after the season ends. Additionally, a new engagement incentive framework called Perks Passport will be introduced, tracking users' progress and achievements in various DeFi activities and events, rewarding them with ether.fi loyalty points.
Parallel Network, an all-chain L2 network, has announced that it will launch a withdrawal feature on July 2nd. This feature will allow users to withdraw assets from Parallel L2 to public blockchains, including ETH, Manta, Merlin-Chain, and Arbitrum One.
Blast Ecosystem's decentralized leverage trading protocol, Particle, has announced the tokenomics of its PTC token. The maximum supply is set at 200 million, with 55% allocated to the community, 21% to contributors, and 24% to investors.
An initial airdrop of 20 million tokens (18.2% of community allocation), vested over 24 months, is planned. Tokens for contributors and investors will be locked for six months. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is scheduled for July 2nd at 18:00. Further details on phase two will be released this week, following lessons learned from phase one.
Wormhole has announced that the W airdrop claim window will shut at 7:59 on that day.
Additionally, the deadline for claiming TAIKO airdrop tokens is also set for July 4th.
In this Ethereum zkRollup-based second layer network event, players engaging in in-game activities on Taiko will earn Bouncer Faction badges, which also provide bonus points.
The incentive includes nine games: Looperlands, Crack&Stack, 0x Astra, 21 BJ, EVM Warfare, Stupid Monkeys, Swords & Dungeons, Ultiverse, and Zypher Network.
Mt. Gox is set to start distributing Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) repayments at the beginning of July 2024.
