Ethereum L2 Blockchain, Web3 Networks: Biconomy Brings Account Abstraction for Builders on Mantle

Mantle, a “high-performance,” modular Ethereum layer-2 network, announced Biconomy as one of its ecosystem partners ahead of its mainnet launch in Q2 2023. Biconomy, a web3 developer and transaction infrastructure platform, is the first application of account abstraction deployed on Mantle. The partnership was announced at the Biconomy Hakkā House on the first day of EthGlobal Tokyo. Account abstraction streamlines the transaction execution experience, reducing a multi-step process to a single signature, enabling gasless transactions, batching, and custom access controls. It removes complications in the web3 user experience and makes it comparable to traditional Web 2 services without sacrificing self-custody or decentralization. With Biconomy joining, dapp developers on Mantle can use its SDK with plug-and-play modules to offer easy onboarding, simplified transactions, and a chain-agnostic approach for users.
