Garden Finance Founder Denies Allegations of Bybit Hack Involvement

A heated exchange has erupted between prominent blockchain sleuth ZachXBT and Jaz Gulati, founder of Garden Finance, over allegations linking the latter to funds from the Bybit hack and other illicit activities.

The controversy began with ZachXBTs accusations, to which Gulati quickly responded by referencing a previous post from Q4 2024. In that post, Gulati claimed Garden Finance had received 30 BTC well before the Bybit hack took place, offering a screenshot as proof.

However, ZachXBT has doubled down on his claims, drawing parallels to other hacks allegedly connected to the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK), specifically mentioning the WazirX incident which predated the Bybit hack.

ZachXBT further escalated his questioning of Garden Finances legitimacy, labeling it a “fake decentralized bridge.” Gulati swiftly dismissed this characterization as “misinformation,” asserting the “fake decentralized” label was unfounded.

In a more recent development, ZachXBT levied a fresh accusation, alleging that a single actor has been consistently “topping up cbBTCs liquidity from Coinbase for Chinese launderers” as they moved stolen funds from the Bybit hack. Notably, Gulati, who had been quick to respond to previous allegations, has yet to address this specific and serious accusation. The crypto community awaits a response from the Garden Finance founder as these allegations continue to unfold.
