Bitmine invests $200 million in MrBeasts Beast Industries to expand DeFi and financial services integration
Bitmine Immersion Technology, the world‘s leading Ethereum treasury company, announced Thursday a $200 million equity investment into Beast Industries. The announcement comes ahead of Bitmine’s annual meeting scheduled for later today.
The partnership will focus on exploring the integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) into MrBeasts upcoming financial services platform to bridge the gap between digital assets and the creator economy.
The deal, viewed as a significant endorsement of Beast Industries vision and growth potential, is set to close on January 19, 2026.
Beast Industries, led by MrBeast, is preparing to expand beyond the entertainment sector. CEO Jeffrey Housenbold revealed last month plans for a financial services platform and Beast Mobile, a phone service targeting the companys extensive creator-driven audience.
The worlds largest YouTuber also submitted a trademark filing for “MrBeast Financial,” raising the prospect of a new fintech initiative.
The filing outlines potential services spanning banking, investing, and crypto-related offerings, suggesting MrBeast may be considering financial services with some level of digital asset integration.
“MrBeast and Beast Industries, in our view, is the leading content creator of our generation, with a reach and engagement unmatched with GenZ, GenAlpha and Millennials,” Thomas ‘Tom’ Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, said in a statement. “Beast Industries is the largest and most innovative creator based platform in the world and our corporate and personal values are strongly aligned.”
