Coinbase has launched stock perpetual futures for eligible non-US users, expanding its offering of crypto, equities, and prediction markets.
The launch comes as perpetual futures have gained broader adoption, with monthly volumes on decentralized exchanges exceeding US$1.2 trillion in 2025, as investors used perps to manage risk amid flat spot markets.
“Everything Exchange” Adds Equity Perpetuals Abroad
The company said in a blog post on Friday that the product is not available to US persons at this time, but it is “working to expand this offering to additional regions in the future.”
Join the inaugural Finance Magnates Singapore Summit 2026, which will bring together brokers, fintechs, banks, EMIs, wealth managers, and hedge funds across APAC.
The contracts are accessible on Coinbase Advanced for retail users and Coinbase International Exchange for institutions. They provide leveraged, cash-settled exposure to major US stocks and indices, including Apple and Nvidia, in a format familiar to crypto traders.

The launch follows Coinbases earlier moves to offer regulated crypto futures and 24/5 cash equities in the US, alongside Kalshi-powered prediction markets in all 50 states. The company has described its platform as an “everything exchange” where users can switch between tokens, stocks, and event contracts.
