We’re pleased to announce the launch of historical funding book data on Bitfinex Terminal, a real-time market data feed. The launch of historical funding book data adds to the range of advanced tools available for our users to analyse market data, backtest ideas and power algorithmic trading strategies. Bitfinex customers can obtain access to the premium data service, which consists of snapshots taken every 5 seconds, on a pay-as-you-go basis. Users can purchase query time for funding book data with bitcoin via the Lightning Network, Tether tokens (USDt) or UNUS SED LEO, a utility token on the Bitfinex platform. After a user purchases an amount of time for a specific token, he or she is able to query and download as many of that token’s snapshots until the purchased time expires. Historical funding book data can be accessed from the Bitfinex Terminal GitHub page, following instructions from Bitfinex. Users can purchase query time for their chosen premium dataset at a rate of US$0.02, 100 satoshi or 0.0015 UNUS SED LEO per hour, per dataset. Bitfinex Terminal is a real-time market data feed that allows users to backtest trading ideas that can power trading strategies. Bitfinex Terminal also offers historical snapshots of exchange order book data on a pay-as-you-go basis as well as free access to historical funding statistics and public trade data.
