Bitfinex will support the upcoming Radix Mainnet Network upgrade to Babylon. This upgrade is intended to enhance the user and developer experience of Radix and make it easier for mainstream adoption of Web3 and DeFi products built on the Radix network.Radix Mainnet deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily suspended on the Bitfinex platform, approximately 24 hours before the upgrade takes place , which is currently expected to occur on or before 27/09/2023. This upgrade time is provided by Radix, which is only an estimated time and is subject to change. Bitfinex customers are advised to monitor for the exact upgrade time as stated above and not to send any deposits to our platform 24 hours before the upgrade to avoid losing any funds. Radix Mainnet trading will not be affected. As part of this upgrade, all existing Bitfinex Radix Mainnet deposit addresses will also be discontinued; therefore, customers are required to generate and use new deposit addresses after the upgrade is completed. Any subsequent deposits sent to the old deposit addresses after the upgrade may be lost and unrecoverable.A separate announcement will be made once the Babylon upgrade has been completed and Radix Mainnet deposits and withdrawals have resumed.
