The broader theft incident has seen approximately $28 million recovered to date, via white-hat hackers, internal rescue personnel, and the Ethereum staking platform StakeWise.
Importantly, the proposal centers on the $8 million recovered by white-hat hackers and the internal rescue team, while the nearly $20 million recovered by StakeWise is earmarked for separate distribution to its users.
