The Hashgraph Group has launched the TrackTrace platform on the Hedera network. This platform aims to help companies comply with the European Unions Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements. TrackTrace tracks product data by increasing supply chain visibility, records emission information, and can be used for compliance reporting and verification.

TrackTrace Platform Features and Benefits

The platform creates verified audit trails for product-based data, sustainability credentials, durability, and repairability. It automates compliance workflows with agentic artificial intelligence. It was developed under the EUs Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), which came into effect on July 18, 2024. Battery passport requirements will apply to electric vehicle and industrial batteries starting February 18, 2027; products like textiles, clothing, iron-steel will be covered from July 2027.
