We're pleased to announce the launch of "Pay with Bitfinex", enabling Bitfinex account holders to seamlessly make payments in digital tokens to merchants that have installed the Bitfinex Pay widget. "Pay with Bitfinex" demonstrates our ongoing commitment to increasing mass adoption of crypto by providing our users with another payment option beyond existing third party wallets. Customers can now use their Bitfinex exchange wallet to easily make digital token payments to online merchants that have integrated Bitfinex Pay. To make payments from their Bitfinex account, customers simply click on the Bitfinex Pay button on the merchant's page and are seamlessly directed to the Bitfinex payment gateway, where they will find the "Pay with Bitfinex" button at the bottom of the invoice. Users will then log in to their Bitfinex account, before verifying their payment invoice with their Bitfinex account's Google Authenticator 2FA. Once payment has been confirmed, the funds will be deducted from the user's Bitfinex wallet and credited to the merchant. The minimum value of payments made using "Pay with Bitfinex" will be US$5, or an equivalent amount in another currency, which is the minimum withdrawal amount for users on Bitfinex, and capped at US$1,000.
