We're pleased to announce the addition of Solana (SOL) as collateral on Bitfinex Borrow, our peer-to-peer (P2P) digital token loan portal. Bitfinex users can obtain loans of up to 70% of the value of their SOL holdings in US Dollars (USD) and Tether tokens (USDt). Borrowers can select SOL from the list of digital tokens they wish to use as collateral, displayed on the Bitfinex Borrow page, before depositing sufficient collateral into their Margin wallet. Borrowers will have to manage their own risk of fluctuations in the SOL price. Bitfinex Borrow allows users to borrow funds from other users by using their digital tokens or fiat assets as collateral.
