Chainlink Launches Crypto Airdrops Program with Space and Time

Chainlink announced the launch of Chainlink Rewards, a new crypto program to reward community participation and activity across its ecosystem. The initiative is launched in collaboration with Space and Time (SXT).

The program will allow Chainlink Build projects to make native tokens claimable by eligible Chainlink participants, including LINK stakers.

Chainlink Rewards and SXT Airdrop Details

Space and Time is the first Build project to participate. The project will allocate 4% of its total SXT token supply—amounting to 200 million SXT—for distribution through the program.

The initial batch of 100 million SXT will be available for claim on May 8, 2025. Both current and historical LINK stakers will be eligible for this airdrop claim.

Also, the claim period for this first distribution, known as Season Genesis, will last 90 days. The remaining tokens and any unclaimed supply may be released in future reward seasons.

This allows Chainlink Build projects to make their token claimable by ecosystem participants, including eligible LINK Stakers.

Chainlink Rewards expands the scope of the Build program. It bridges community participants with Build projects that are looking to grow in adoption.

The airdrop program supports active users and node operators who contribute to the security and operation of the Chainlink Network.

Space and Time joined the Build program in September 2022. It has since grown its decentralized database solution, which uses zero-knowledge proofs to deliver data analytics to smart contracts.

The project integrated Chainlink Functions in 2024 to support the delivery of ZK-proven queries on-chain.

Meanwhile, Chainlink confirmed that future reward events may include other Build projects offering token rewards to ecosystem participants. The Season Genesis claim period opens on May 8, 2025.

Therefore, eligible LINK stakers can access the reward distribution through official Chainlink channels.

Several other new crypto airdrop programs have been announced for May 2025. Most recently, meme coin project Floki announced the RICE token airdrop for FLOKI holders.

ZORA also launched with a highly engaging airdrop on Base Network, following the hype of content coins.
