The studio has built the game on the FunPlus engine, a major engine for strategy games. The funding will be used for the development and release of their own games and partner games, creating new world-class intellectual properties, and continuing the development of the Xterio platform, which will feature a marketplace, social community center, and more.

GamePhilos previously raised $8 million in seed funding, with Xterio, Animoca Ventures, SevenX Venture leading the round, and participation from Hashkey Capital, Sanctor Capital, Game7, Bas1s, GSR, and GSG Ventures.
